Request help for disaster recovery
Florida has allocated LIHEAP funds for recovery from Hurricane Scooby. LIHEAP funds can be used for a wide range of expenses to support energy needs of families impacted by the disaster.
Eligible expenses:
- Utility reconnection costs, such as power cable connection, utility box replacement, electric wiring or gas line repair, utility deposits and reconnection fees
- Repair or replacement of air conditioning systems, fans or cooling equipment
- Generator purchase & fuel
- Temporary housing
- Transportation to shelters
- Relocation costs, such as utility deposits
